Your user ID
You can have up to 8 lower case alphanumeric characters (abc... , 123..., etc.) with no special characters allowed. Your user ID defines your web site's "address" or URL. For example, if you chose "yourname" as your user ID, your URL would look like:
http://www.sphynx.com/yourname
or
http://sphynx.com/yourname

Need a Longer Name?
If your company name is longer than 8 characters and you need to have the full name included in your URL, we can arrange that for an additional one-time setup fee of $9.95.
Instead of:
http://sphynx.com/yourname
Your URL would look like:
http://sphynx.com/yourlongername
To order this option, check the "Full Identity" item in the Account Options section below. You still need to indicate a user ID here to be used as your login ID.

Your Email Account
You get an email account that is the same as uour user ID. Your email address on Sphynx looks like:
yourname@sphynx.com

POP Account
Stores mail on the server. Use a mail client like Eudora to collect your mail. You get a password for your mail account. Your email account name is the same as your Sphynx user ID.
Email Alias
Redirects mail to an existing Internet mail box elsewhere. Specify where you want mail to be sent. Your email account name is the same as your Sphynx user ID.
