Feel free to do whatever you like with your site or server.

A default home page - index.html - along with two graphics on that page were placed in your home directory when your site or server was configured. You may use the file as a template to construct your home page, or you may delete it and the graphics files.

Site Users: You may want to save the original index.html file you were given, as it already has a graphical hit counter set up. You can copy the html for the hit counter and paste it into your own design for your home page.

Server Users: You have several options for adding text or graphical hit counters to web sites and pages on your server. One option is the WWWCount 2.0 program used on Sphynx.
