Can I use telnet

No, telnet is not supported for Site customers.Telnet is used to access a remote computer on the Internet to run programs and use the operating system on that remote computer. For a Site account, everything you need to do can be done via ftp access.
On the other hand a Sphynx Server account can be accessed via telnet. If you're contemplating getting a Sphynx Server account, remember, some online services don't offer telnet. To telnet to your server on Sphynx's system, you'll need to get a full Internet access account with an Internet Service Provider or an online account with a service that offers telnet.
