Currently available cgi scripts and programs for Sphynx Sites

• Formmail - simple version - a Perl script that processes the results of a form on your site and returns a "plain vanilla" page to the person submitting the form. The returned page lists the completed fields and their contents in order of occurrence.

• FormMail - full-featured version - a Perl script that processes the results of a fill-out form on your site. You control the look of the page returned to the user or you can redirect the user to your own prepared "thank you" page.

• Guestlist - a program which allows you to provide visitors to your site a guestbook they can sign and leave comments on. You create two pages, one is a form, one is the list. Or you can have both the form and the list on one page.

• Hit Counter - WWWCount 2.2, a program that puts a graphical hit counter on your home page. It also generates a digital clock and a digital date display (for any timezone) if you desire.

• Digital Clock - WWWCount 2.2 also is used to put a digital clock on any page on your site.

All cgi programs and scripts available for use by Site customers may be used in conjunction with any page on your site. We will be glad to review and possibly include for everyone's use any additional scripts or programs you might want to submit. Email your suggestions for Perl 4.x scripts or ANSI C code to support@sphynx.com. Please include the URL where you located the script or program, it's author, etc.

If you lease a Sphynx Server 1 or Server 2 virtual server with its own cgi-bin directory, you have the ability to install many different and useful cgi scripts and programs in addition to those listed above. Among the cgi tools you can install are:

• Imagemap handling cgi
• Add-a-link cgi scripts
• Shopping cart cgi
• Database cgi
• Just about any Perl script
• CGI programs written in ANSI C
