Note: Sphynx Server 1 or Server 2.

We recommend using WWW Count 2.2, a configurable, reliable and graceful hit counter CGI that does not require server side includes. It will allow you to put a counter on any page anywhere in your htdocs directory structure. It also allows you to put a digital clock or digital date display on any page you choose.

Count 2.2 is archived on your server. Here are the instructions for installation.
