Many types of counters will work.

Because, as a virtual server operator, you own your own httpd daemon, you are free to install counters any way you see fit.

You will find instructions on how to install a simple text based counter in the virtual server administrator's handbook. This counter is effected using server side includes, and can be found in chapter 5.4.4.

Some graphical "odomoter" style counters which use the "src" element in the "img" tag are also configurable. The following is a list of some of the graphical counters that have been used by virtual server clients:

The files for this counter are archived on your server for you to install and use if you wish.
